Riverside Ballroom is an event and banquet hall in Green Bay, WI that has been in operation since 1936. Throughout their 80-year history (and counting), they have hosted hundreds of weddings, anniversary celebrations, holiday parties, funeral dinners, corporate events, trade and car shows, school functions… you name it, they book it. They also are known for hosting a variety of events that are open to the public, such as comedy acts and concerts. Also, their family-style chicken dinners are a huge hit with any crowd!

With the COVID-19 pandemic hitting early in 2020, the event industry took a pretty big hit. Riverside Ballroom was in need of a boost as things started opening up…

In preparation for the much-anticipated day restrictions would start to lift, Webfitters created an ongoing Google Ads campaign and targeting a 50-mile radius around Green Bay. The campaign focused on promoting weddings, corporate events, and general parties for 2021 and beyond. An ongoing remarketing campaign was also implemented to target users who specifically view the weddings page of the Riverside Ballroom website (meaning that if someone views that particular page, they will begin seeing Google Ads for Riverside Ballroom in other aspects of their web-browsing experience). Lastly, our Marketing Team has assisted in managing Riverside Ballroom’s organic and paid Facebook campaigns.

Throughout our process, Google Analytics has been leveraged to set goals, monitor traffic, identify areas of improvement, and assist with all digital marketing strategies.

The numbers show Riverside Ballroom has experienced increased success across the board and has come out of the pandemic strong. Google Ads are continuing to bring in an average of 4 leads per month. The website’s bounce rate consistently below 50% which is considered very good for a B2C website. Our team is continuing to work with the Riverside Ballroom staff to strengthen their online presence.
