Festival Foods Brat Stand

Challenge

Festival Foods is a well known grocer that has been supporting communities since 1946. They are an active member in the cities they do business in and give back in many different ways. One of the ways in which they participate in the community is by hosting brat stands in front of their stores.

They approached our team looking for an online solution that would allow them to better manage the local charities and nonprofits looking to host brat stand fundraisers. Previously, they used a software called SignUp Genius, but the manual data input and registration process proved troublesome. They needed something automated and easier to manage.

The solution they were looking for had to provide clear communication to store managers to help track and manage the signups at their locations. Our team worked to create a streamlined online platform that would check all their boxes.

Solution

We worked with Festival Foods to create an online solution that would enhance transparency for Festival team members as well as make the process more efficient for users signing up.

To do that we created a webpage dedicated to brat stands! This separate page allows organizations to find all of the information they are looking for and the registration process in one spot.

The signup flows seamlessly, with the next sections automatically brought up once completed. First, users pick a Festival Foods location nearest to them, then they choose an available date, next they fill out the requested information, following that they review the details of the contract and then confirm their Brat Stand event.

Once the forms have been filled out and confirmation has been received, the local Festival Foods management, along with the user will both receive a notification of the registration. This provides transparency on both ends of the process so that both parties are fully aware of the event.

Additional features have been built into the application including the ability for admins to change or adjust dates as needed and block off certain dates on the calendar. Organizers are also sent a reminder of an upcoming event via the application as well.
