New Digs for the Webfitters Team

If you follow our social media channels or subscribe to our newsletter, you may have already heard that we have moved! After 12 years in one place, we have closed the doors on George Street, packed our desks, computers, and ping pong table, and are making 520 N Broadway our new home.

Projecting Growth

The last two years have been challenging for everyone – including Webfitters. But our team thrives on challenge, and has managed to find new ways to grow, despite the many uncontrollable variables the pandemic has presented. Not only has our client base grown, but our team has also grown to accommodate the needs of our clients – and for this reason, we needed a bigger space.

Let the Search Begin

The search for a new space began about a year ago, when our projections showed that we would outgrow our space on George Street very soon. We toured many spaces in Green Bay, but nothing seemed to be the right fit, until…..

The “Wow” Factor

When we walked into the multi-office building on N Broadway, in the Rail Yard District, something clicked. It just felt right.

The Rail Yard District is booming with development! We met with Base Companies, owner and developer of the Railyard District, and shared our vision. Not only was the Base Companies team great to work with, they were incredibly accommodating in helping us turn our dreams into reality with our new space.

Starting from Scratch

The space we found at 520 N Broadway was gutted – down to the exposed ceilings, concrete floors and bare walls. Needless to say, we had our work cut out for us. (Aha! Another challenge!)

But we found the opportunity to design our space from scratch perfect. So we began browsing wall colors, light fixtures, floor coverings, desk designs, wall decor, signage, and more – from geeky tech professionals to interior designers, we were up for the challenge!

Getting Settled In

Our space has come a long way over the past few months, and we’re still adding final touches to truly make this space our own. Our conference room table is being custom-made, out of a bowling alley lane (how cool!) We’re also working on a custom sign to welcome guests as they enter our lobby, and we are personalizing our individual office spaces each day.

We have access to a beautiful rooftop deck, which our team will certainly make use of over the warm summer months. We envision it being an office space during the day and a social space to connect and unwind with our team in the evenings.

Another bonus: We’re right next door to Titletown Brewing Company, down the road from Neville Public Museum, and within a stone’s throw of the Farmer’s Market on Broadway. To say we’re excited to become “regulars” is an understatement!

Meeting Our Neighbors

The appeal of sharing a building with other growing businesses felt like the best place for our team to settle down and stretch our legs. Not only are we surrounded by booming businesses, we’re also flanked on Floor 3 by other tech companies – which gives us an excellent opportunity to collaborate with like-minded professionals, right next door. We couldn’t be more excited for the new neighbors we have, and have already started making great friends!

What’s Next?

We are planning an official ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce in the near future, so stay tuned for dates! In the meantime, we will be inviting clients to check out our new digs and watch the progress as we get settled in.
