Recent Website Launch: Unext

Congratulations to Unext on the Launch of Their New Custom Website and Application!

Webfitters is excited to announce the launch of a new custom web application for Unext. Unext is a startup company created by two bright students from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. Alex Marchese and Tyrone Powell felt that their fellow classmates were not fully aware of job-shadow and internship opportunities within (and outside of) their major. With this problem, they developed a solution. Their idea would provide an easy way to connect students with local employers. Alex and Tyrone interviewed local businesses as well as students and eventually came to Webfitters with a wireframe and a plan to expand on their idea by building a fully functional custom web application.

Webfitters worked closely with Unext to develop a powerful and interactive tool that easily connects students with employers, as well as provides employers with direct access to students’ resumes and background.

Students have the ability to sign up for an account through their school. This profile is where students can upload a complete, multi tiered resume. Students can also perform detailed and filtered searches to find opportunities based on industry, location, employer and more. Additionally, students can apply for jobs directly through the site.

Employers can also sign up and pay for a subscription through the site. Based on the subscription level, employers can search students based on major, areas of interest, location and more, giving employers and students a direct connection to opportunities and talent.

We couldn’t be more proud of this inspiring duo, and can't wait to see what the future holds for Unext.
